MY STORY
My name is Ali, I have had a passion for animals all my life and have always had pets growing up. As you can tell from the photos, my love of animals started at a very early age! No animal was ever left unloved, including Fish, Budgies, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters, Cats and even Stick Insects.
As well as our own pets, our family fostered cats for the National Animal Trust. I played a valuable role in caring for them and giving them all the care and attention they needed until we were able to rehome them. When we felt they were too stressed or nervous to be rehomed, we provided their forever home with us.
I have been a cat lover all my life but when I turned 30 I decided I was ready for my first dog. When I went to pick out a Jack Russell puppy, little did I know that she would pick me! Nine years on, and Twiglet has now become the inspiration behind Little Pet Paws.
Having a dog got me through some tough times. So much so I am now the proud Mum of three Jack Russells – Twiglet, Popcorn and Dinky Doughnut. I really understand how important animals are to their families. I could never imagine a life without an animal by my side.
I've spent the last 15 years in Sales and Marketing but after a serious road traffic accident in 2014, where I was hit by a motorbike and knocked off my bike, I decided that life is too short not to be doing what you love so I decided to set up Little Pet Paws.
If I can help look after your furry family member it would be a true honour. I will treat them as if they were my own and welcome them into my family.
